Why Vehicle Tracking?
In the modern age, information is required instantly and vehicle tracking is no different. Gone are the days where it was sufficient to solely know a vehicle’s past or future destination. In order to react to customer needs, detailed information is required immediately and with millions of pounds being wasted each year through inefficient fleet management, Covics Ltd can offer the ideal solution with a guaranteed return on your investment. |
What BOX-tracker can do for you
As an ideal solution for any company managing a fleet of five vehicles or more. BOX-tracker will save you money by identifying inefficiencies and providing detailed information on the activity of your vehicles:
· Reduce fuel and overtime costs
· Reduce a vehicle’s carbon footprint
· Know when staff have arrived at or left a site
· Provide instant customer service
· Includes both live and historic data
· Unlimited vehicle tracking at a fixed price
· Vehicle tracking can give a return on investment for virtually any business.
How does it work?
BOX-tracker operates through the installation of a tracking device that utilises the Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to determine location, speed, direction and time. The information is then logged and transmitted to the tracking server via General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), which is a mobile data service available on the Global Systems for Mobile Communication (GSM). The resulting data is then presented on an extremely user friendly, Windows-based application.
